Gentle Dental Care for Puppies & Senior Pets

The safest way to keep young and aging pets’ teeth clean — without the risks of anesthesia.

Quick Answer

Because our cleaning is anesthesia-free, it’s an ideal fit for senior pets — and for owners of younger pets who want to build a healthy dental routine early. There’s no sedation risk, no fasting and no recovery, so even older dogs and cats with heart or age concerns can be cleaned safely at home. We always assess each pet first and refer to a veterinarian when dental disease is advanced.

Why it’s safer for senior pets

General anesthesia carries extra risk for older pets and those with heart, kidney or liver conditions. Our awake, low-stress cleaning lets seniors keep their teeth healthy without that risk — no fasting and no groggy recovery day.

Starting young pets right

Getting puppies and kittens comfortable with gentle handling early builds a lifetime of easy dental care. We keep first visits calm and positive, and show you how to maintain that bright smile between cleanings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is anesthesia-free teeth cleaning safe? +

Yes. Because there is no sedation, there is no anesthesia risk, no fasting and no recovery time. We start every visit with a free assessment and only proceed when your pet is calm and comfortable.

Does the procedure hurt? +

No. We use gentle techniques designed for comfort. If a pet shows any sign of pain, we stop immediately.

How do I know if my pet is a candidate? +

We perform a physical assessment before starting. If we find severe dental disease, we refer you to a veterinarian — our service is preventive and cosmetic, not a replacement for veterinary care.

What if my dog won't sit still? +

Safety is our top priority and we never force a procedure. If, on arrival, a pet is too aggressive or uncooperative to be treated safely, a $70 trip & assessment fee applies to cover the visit.

How much does it cost? +

Pricing is flat and based on your pet’s size — dogs from $185 and cats at $215, far below a typical veterinary dental cleaning ($600–$1,200). See our pricing page for details.
